Each artist explores their own distinct style, offering diverse expressions of pottery. We aim to unfold the everyday creative spaces of artists and designers in a grounded way, while presenting an open-boundary exhibition within the "studio" environment.

當我們重新再審視這些物料的時候,總是能發現蘊藏在其中的靈光。就像布邊的線條,樹枝的弧度,或者印刷上的油漬。每個創作者或者生產者,對於「邊角料」的定義都不同,像產品所呈現出來的不同剖面,而我們總能從這些剖面窺視到不同的經驗弧光。
我們不想用「廢料」或者「垃圾」來形容這些材料。我們覺得他們總是存在著另一種可能性,一種還未被定義,瀰漫伸展著的可能性。
Translation Art is the Scraps of This World
This exhibition "Scraps" is composed of the "scraps" from ten creative individuals across various fields (contemporary art, bonsai, oil painting, silver jewelry, film, healthcare, indigo dyeing, installation art). "Scraps" refer to the remnants of creation—materials one cannot bear to discard yet cannot fully claim as their own "works," directions of exploration, fragments of future pieces, or other interpretations by the creators.

不同於上次我們嘗試呈現出世界民俗中的多元樣態,這次我們想展示,我們在幾個月前就開始籌備製作的《類人》 的拼圖玩具冊。玩具的主體是猿猴,這種形似人類,卻居住在山野叢林間的生物。似乎成為我們幻想人類歸隱山林之後的模樣參考。
也許從另一個角度看,猿猴也是如我們一般,幻想著自己住在水泥叢林裡。

籍此次紙団設計所ZITYUN DESIGN STUDIO x八角商店SENSE8聯名展,紙団設計所重新梳理了給八角做品牌視覺設計時的工作文件,發現有很多設計邊角料值得被挖掘與重見光明,結合雙方在關於八角形型態符號上所進行的收集研究,呈現了以8張海報為主要載體的視覺表達和型態研討。
除了平面海報,雙方合作設計了八角商店的首款增味Bean to bar巧克力:薄荷可可的包裝,以此為原型發展出整套圍繞“多邊風味,多元感受”的聯名套裝,可以通過套裝中的八角品鑑簿品鑑八角巧克力以及更多不同的產品,甚至給其他各種事物評分,感受生活多種風味。

In addition to this ZITYUN DESIGN STUDIO x SENSE8 joint exhibition, ZITYUN DESIGN STUDIO re-examined the work documents from the time when they created the SENSE8‘s brand visual design. They found that many design peripherals were worthy of excavation and re-examination. Combining the collected research conducted by both sides on octagonal pattern symbols, they presented a visual expression and pattern discussion with 8 posters as the main medium.
In addition to the flat-screen posters, the two sides collaborated to design the first Bean to bar chocolate flavored in the SENSE8: the mint chocolate packaging. Using this as a prototype, they developed a whole set of joint-branded kits around “Multi-Flavors, Multiple Feelings.” Through the SENSE8 tasting book in the kit, you can taste SENSE8 chocolate and more different products, and even rate various other things, experiencing the various flavors of life.

而在中國,除了被人所熟識的《山海經》、《聊齋》之外,還有許多雜談志怪的書本,如《堅夷志》、《幽明錄》等。無不爲我們呈現出一個神祕卻精彩的世界。如果我們仔細去觀看東西方的故事和畫面的時候,我們會看到兩者之間有着驚人的構圖方式和繪畫技巧,而這種技巧不僅呈現出文化和藝術表達之間的多元性,更暗含着文明之間的交流性。
而這次的展覽,我們就是重新吸收和繪製了基於東西方誌怪文學以及邊緣圖像的創作。它以卡牌的形式呈現,我們希望原本的“手抄稿”這類與觀衆有更多互動性的載體,能夠得以延續。將有趣的圖像做成了一副藝術卡牌,並融入了八卦、五行等不同的東方傳統哲學思想。讓觀衆能夠更實地地去玩、去使用這個我們繪製的卡牌。
