《類人》是一個童真的玩具，讓觀眾回歸到孩童時代一般，感受書本本身帶來的快樂。
當我們回看不同的民藝時，很多都是從「偶」這個形象發展出來的。不管是亞馬遜叢林的泥偶，還是印度恆河流域的木偶。大多人對於世界的探索都起源於對於擬人事物的崇拜。而之所以想做這本書，是因為我們發現，我們最初探索世界的經驗來源於小時候的紙製拼圖，這些零散卻又能夠整合的物件。不僅讓我們建構我們對於這個世界的認知，同時也能夠讓我們重新回看「偶」這種，「原始的」物件/對象。如同會到孩提時代一般，我們透過拼湊來建構屬於我們自身的世界觀。
為什麼我們喜歡猴子？因為我們認為它們看起來像人類，或者在許多方面像我們的表親。但我們知道自己與眾不同。這種模糊的差異是如此吸引人。我們相信，通過觀察猴子，我們可以觀察到自己。
The "human-like human” is more like a childlike toy, allowing the audience to return to their childhood and feel the happiness brought by the book itself.
Maybe it's the reasons why we like monkeys are because we think they look like a human or like our cousins in many ways. But we know that we are different. These kinds of ambiguous differences are so attractive. And we believe we can observe ourselves by watching monkeys.
